Cancellation and Renewal Policy

Version: 2026-10-18

This Cancellation and Renewal Policy forms part of your agreement with Sport Liquidators, L.L.C.

1. Annual Rentals

Annual rentals automatically renew for successive annual rental periods unless properly cancelled.
A cancellation is effective only if both of the following requirements have been completed at least 24 hours before the applicable renewal time:

  1. you have communicated your intention to cancel to Sport Liquidators or an authorized Participating Shop; and
  2. all Equipment covered by the rental has been physically returned to and accepted by authorized staff.

Both conditions are required.
Providing notice without returning the Equipment does not complete cancellation.
Returning Equipment without communicating that the annual rental is being cancelled may not complete cancellation unless authorized staff records the return as a cancellation.

2. How to Give Cancellation Notice

Cancellation intent may be communicated through a reasonable authorized method, including:

  • email to [email protected];
  • telephone communication with Sport Liquidators or the Participating Shop handling your rental; or
  • in-person communication at the Participating Shop.

Regardless of the method used to communicate cancellation intent, Equipment must still be returned and accepted within the required timeframe.

3. Effect of Missing the Annual Cancellation Deadline

If cancellation and Equipment return are not both completed at least 24 hours before renewal, the annual rental may renew and the applicable annual renewal charge may be processed.
Except where required by law, a properly processed renewal charge is non-refundable and non-proratable.
Returning Equipment after a renewal has occurred does not automatically create a refund for the renewed rental period.

4. No Refunds or Proration

Except where required by applicable law or expressly approved by Sport Liquidators:

  • rental charges are non-refundable;
  • annual renewal charges are non-refundable once properly charged;
  • early return does not create a prorated refund;
  • partial use does not create a credit or refund; and
  • failure to use Equipment does not relieve the customer of charges properly incurred.

5. Daily Rentals

Daily rentals do not automatically renew.
Daily Equipment must be returned by the Participating Shop's closing time on the stated return date.
Each rental day that the Equipment remains outstanding after the required return deadline results in an additional full daily rental charge.
Additional daily charges continue to accrue until the Equipment is returned and accepted, subject to any separate rights Sport Liquidators may have concerning lost, stolen, abandoned, or unreturned Equipment.

6. Lost, Stolen, Damaged or Unreturned Equipment

Cancellation or expiration of a rental does not eliminate responsibility for Equipment.
Reasonable repair charges may be assessed for damage.
Equipment that is lost, stolen, destroyed, not returned, or damaged beyond economical repair may result in liability up to the applicable full retail or replacement value.
Such amounts are separate from rental or late charges.

7. Renewal and Return Communications

Sport Liquidators may send courtesy communications concerning upcoming renewal, required return, overdue Equipment, or other rental deadlines.
Failure to receive a courtesy notification does not alter the customer's obligations under this Policy, except where applicable law requires a specific notice as a condition of renewal or enforcement.

8. Applicable Law

Nothing in this Policy limits any cancellation, refund, notice, or other right that cannot lawfully be waived.
If applicable law provides greater rights, those rights control.

Cancellation questions and notices may be directed to:
[email protected]
